(TORONTO, ONTARIO) –  Smoke & Felt is excited to announce it is partnering with the Pickering-Uxbridge NDP and its candidate, Khalid Ahmed, for the June 2022 Ontario election. S&F will work with the Candidate to spread his campaign message of progressive change across digital platforms as he works to become the next Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding.

“Khalid Ahmed is a strong advocate for equity, affordability, and improved healthcare,” said Matt Dusenbury, founder of Smoke & Felt. “As a dedicated and active community leader, I am thrilled he and his campaign have chosen to work with S&F to deepen his connection to the people of Pickering-Uxbridge.”

Smoke & Felt will work with the Campaign as part of the creative firm’s Atlas initiative, which offers progressive campaigns and candidates strategic flexibility and creative freedom to map out their digital communications strategy on the journey to victory.

Having lived in the riding of Pickering-Uxbridge for over 12 years, Khalid understands the needs and demands of the local community. As a strong advocate, he has made tremendous contributions to the area in both his professional and personal life, including as an active member with local seniors’ associations. As the Ontario NDP candidate for the upcoming provincial election, Ahmed is focused on protecting residents’ pensions and fighting Doug Ford’s cuts to public healthcare, among other key goals.

“We look forward to working with S&F to connect with communities throughout the riding ahead of Election Day,” said Khalid Ahmed. “I love our community and I am dedicated to making sure we get the public services we need. We are one of the fastest growing communities in the province. As MPP, I will ensure that our growth means a better path forward that always puts Pickering-Uxbridge families first.”

Smoke & Felt will work closely with the Candidate and Campaign to build its digital communications and outreach to residents and communities in the riding.

“Working with the Pickering-Uxbridge NDP and Khalid Ahmed is a wonderful partnership for Smoke & Felt,” said Dusenbury. “This summer’s election is proving to be a pivotal one for the people and the province of Ontario, and I look forward to the great work that is yet to come as Khalid works to bring the change Pickering-Uxbridge is looking for.”
