Smoke & Felt Launches ‘Atlas’, its New Digital Advertising Initiative for Progressive Campaigns

(TORONTO, ONTARIO) –  With Ontarians set to go to the polls this summer, Smoke & Felt is excited to announce the launch of its Atlas initiative for progressive campaigns. The all-new program is the best way for forward-thinking candidates from across the province to map out their digital advertising strategy on the journey to victory against the Ford Conservatives.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to launch S&F’s new Atlas initiative ahead of the next election period in Ontario,” said Matt Dusenbury, founder of the creative communications firm. “Over the last few years, we’ve seen how Doug Ford and the Conservatives have not only completely bungled the response to COVID-19, but attacked the very people who need help the most, from nurses, to teachers, to parents. Ontarians are looking for change in their government. The Atlas initiative is designed to help progressive campaigns speak directly to voters and show that a better way is possible.”

Smoke & Felt’s Atlas initiative does this by providing a streamlined approach to digital advertising for campaigns. When a candidate or riding association joins the program, they select one of three plans to choose from: Essential, Advanced, or Expert. Each one comes with additional features and benefits that allow Smoke & Felt to work with the campaign to map out a complete digital advertising strategy.

“Atlas is the culmination of our years of work on a number of projects,” said Dusenbury. “We know that every campaign is different. With limited staff, resources, and time, it can be difficult to cover all these topics and do it well. Atlas allows us to offer unique digital advertising services to multiple campaigns at scale, so candidates can focus on speaking directly to voters in their riding.”

The move marks another milestone for the company. Smoke & Felt is enjoying a number of successes lately, having recently partnered with the Elementary Teachers of Toronto and continuing to work with York Region’s Blue Door. With its launch, Atlas joins The Whip newsletter and S&F Academy as part of Smoke & Felt’s growing offering of tools and resources for progressive organizations, just as the province moves closer towards a writ drop.

“2022 is already shaping up to be a banner year for Smoke & Felt,” said Dusenbury. “Our organization is dedicated to working towards more just, more progressive outcomes for people, and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come.”
