(LETHBRIDGE, ALBERTA) – Smoke & Felt is proud to announce it is partnering with candidate Jenn Prosser in her run for Lethbridge City Council. S&F will be collaborating with the Prosser campaign to build a new set of digital tools and fundraising infrastructure to help Prosser bring her progressive vision to the city of Lethbridge, Alberta this fall.

“I’m extremely excited to have Smoke & Felt working with Jenn and her campaign for Lethbridge City Council,” said Matt Dusenbury, Founder of S&F. “Jenn’s love for Lethbridge, her forward-thinking platform, and her commitment to the community make her the perfect candidate for city council.”

The partnership marks the first campaign Smoke & Felt has collaborated on in the province.

“When my team and I began to envision the kind of campaign we wanted to create - one that centred community involvement and walked the talk, I knew immediately that Smoke & Felt would be the ideal partner to realize that vision in the digital environment,” said Jenn Prosser. “Working with Smoke & Felt has been such an affirming process. The attention to detail and their flexibility to ensure our campaign needs were supported made for a very comfortable and stress free partnership.”

Having worked in Ottawa, for a Member of Parliament, and then in Edmonton working to support union members build stronger workplaces, Jenn is bringing the same community-driven approach to her run for city council in Lethbridge. As part of her platform, Prosser is advocating for immediate investment in safe affordable housing, expanding public spaces, and making transit and childcare more accessible and affordable.

“My campaign’s platform is built on years of community building and hearing from community members about what is needed in Lethbridge,” said Prosser. “The digital presentation of those values and ideas have supported a broader and more engaging conversation about how we build a stronger Lethbridge, together.”

As part of the campaign, Smoke & Felt has developed a new website and social channels for Prosser. The site is a complete destination for community members to get to know Jenn, explore her platform, and sign up to volunteer or receive updates from the campaign trail. S&F will also provide online support across the web, social media, and email.

When Prosser announced her candidacy it immediately struck a chord with the people of Lethbridge, showing a desire for progressive change in the city.

“As soon as Jenn announced her candidacy we saw an incredible surge in interest and support online,” said Dusenbury. “I’m thrilled Smoke & Felt is playing a part in bringing this positive change to the community.”
