Blue Door Selects Smoke & Felt to Partner on New Communications Project

(YORK REGION, ONTARIO) –  Smoke & Felt is thrilled to announce it is partnering with emergency housing provider Blue Door to consult on a new communications project. S&F will work with the organization to lend its insight on a range of services, including communications strategy, creative development, and campaign deployment.

“I’m extremely excited that S&F has been selected to work with Blue Door on its new endeavour,” said Matt Dusenbury, founder of Smoke & Felt. “Blue Door has deep roots in communities across York Region providing support for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. S&F is ready to assist the organization in growing its capacity in the region.”

Founded in 1982, Blue Door provides lifesaving support to children, youth, men, women, and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness. To address the root causes of homelessness and to meet the unique crisis needs of individuals and families, Blue Door offers three emergency housing programs, supportive counselling and case management, and various housing, health, and employment programs and partnerships. Taken together, Blue Door strives to support people who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness to attain and retain affordable housing.

We are looking forward to working together to support our vulnerable communities in York Region, who are at risk of, or experiencing homelessness.”

S&F will work closely with Blue Door over the coming months as the project takes shape.
